Mezaki Utatoshi

Born December 22, 1912, Mezaki Utatoshi (Mezaki Toshiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Nakajima Utashito. She started teaching in 1955. She was head of the Gamori-kai, member of the Seiha Hōgaku-kai, and council member of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai. She was an active performer and teacher for more than 50 years.
