Kishishita Shōfū

Born February 25, 1927 in Shiga Prefecture, Kishishita Shōfū (Kishishita Kōzō) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Ikeda Kōdō I, Horie Shunpū, and Satō Seibi. He started teaching in 1955. He belonged to the Bifū-kai, and was head of the Tokuseiji branch of the association.
