Tatehashi Umechiyo

Born in Osaka, June 10, 1919, Tatehashi Umechiyo (Kobayashi Miyoko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Tateshige Ichie. She started teaching in 1955 and was a member of the Tōdō Hōgaku-kai and the Osaka Sankyoku Kyōkai.
