Born November 26, 1911, Narabu Tamayukimatsu (Narabu Toshiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Ōwada Gyokutei, earning her teaching license in 1960. She belonged to the Shiki-on-kai and was head of the Shō-on-kai.
