Born in Osaka Prefecture, October 9, 1917, Nakafuyu Eishū (Tatsumi Kimiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Nakafumi Eikin. She was an advisor to the Eikin-kai and head of the Nara branch and a councillor of the Osaka Sankyoku Kyōkai.
