Nishida Takemi

Born in Hokkaidō, August 12, 1919, Nishida Takemi (Nishida Kimie) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Hagiwara Seigin. She started teaching in 1940, was head of the Sōbi-kai, and belonged to the Kyoto Tōdō-kai. She was an active performer and teacher for more than 50 years.
