Born in Tokyo, January 14, 1911, Noro Sachise (Noro Fukuyo) studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Kinami Michise (Yamasei lineage). She began teaching in 1934 and was affiliated with the Seiin-kai and Seiga-kai.
