Born March 28, 1926 in Tokyo, Harashima Fujimine (Harashima Teruyo) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Imai Fujihatsu and Imai Yasuko. She started teaching in 1962, belonged to the Fuyō-kai, and was head of the Fujimine-kai.
