Muramatsu Tamakatsu (Muramatsu Katsuko) was born March 31, 1939 in Aichi Prefecture. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Sakamoto Tsutomu and began teaching in 1962. She was the head of the Kazumi-kai and was a member of the Tamako-kai.
