Born September 30, 1940 in Nagano City, Mori Shunrei (Mori Reiko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Jyūgo Shunka. She started teaching in 1965 belonged to the Tōdō Ongaku-kai and the Kikutō-kai.
