Suzuki Seikyō (Suzuki Toru) was born August 10, 1922 in Chiba Prefecture. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Satō Seibi. He was a director of the Sofū-kai headquarters and the Hokuriku branch chief of the association. His career spanned more than 30 years.
