Satō Seiha

Born in Fukushima City, February 7, 1917, Satō Seiha (Satō Yoshio) studied Yamada-ryū shamisen and koto under Saeki Koto and Sasaki Shōha and started teaching in 1941. He won the Tokyo Shimbun Composition Competition and was a member of the Hagioka-kai, a Shōfū-kai board member, and also belonged to the Fukushima Koto Music Academy.
