Shirose Kyōko

Shirose Kyōko was born in Tokyo, November 15, 1914. She studied Yamada-ryū shamisen and koto under Kawada Tō (Satō Saku lineage) and received her masters license in 1958. Affiliated with the Katsura-kai, she was an active performer and teacher for more than 50 years.
