Tanabe Miyako

Tanabe Miyako was born in Tokyo, March 8, 1921. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Miyagi Michio, Miyagi Kiyoko, and Miyagi Kazue. She started teaching in 1947. She was a council member of the Miyagi-kai and president of the Shio-no-oto-kai.
