Sano Tsuruko

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, November 5, 1901, Sano Tsuruko studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Shintani Kieko, earning her teaching credentials in 1950. She was a member of the Miyagi-kai and Meiko-kai, and president of the Hinazuru-kai.
