Sakaguchi Kayoko

Sakaguchi Kayoko was born in Kagoshima, March 18, 1927. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Miyagi Michio, Miyagi Kiyoko, and Miyagi Kazue. She received her teaching license in 1957, won first place in the Tokyo Shimbun Competition in 1960, and was a council member of the Miyagi Association.
