Doizaki Masatomi

Born in Aichi Prefecture, April 13, 1920, Doizaki Masatomi (Doizaki Tomio) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Satō Masakazu and Kimura Genji. He began teaching in 1942 and was a member of the Kokufū Ongaku-kai and was active as a performer and teacher for more than 50 years.
