Yoshioka Seiei

In 1955, at the age of five, Yoshioka Seiei (Yoshioka Motoko) became a student of Tomiyama Seikin I. She received the artist name name Seiei in 1967 and was a graduate of the Department of Traditional Japanese Music at Tokyo University of the Arts. She became a master instructor (Shihan) of Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen with the Seion-kai.
