Nakai Miega

Born in Tokyo, January 22, 1925, Nakai Miega (Nakai Chieko) studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Fujii Chiyoga I, earning her teaching license in 1953. She was a member of the Osaka Sankyoku Kyōkai, the Nishinomiya Sankyoku Kyōkai, and the Yamada-ryū Kyōkai, as well as a lecturer at the Osaka College of Music.
