Nakami Yoharue

Born in Kyoto, February 6, 1900, Nakami Yoharue (Tsukuyama Hana) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Itō Hōki (Kyoto), Nakahira Fukunoto, and Kikuasa Shigeharu. She started teaching in 1926 and was affiliated with the Nihon Tōdō Ongaku-kai. She was active as a performer and teacher for more than 60 years.
