Yamaguchi Kotoe

Born May 11, 1913 in Tokyo, Yamaguchi Kotoe studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Yamaguchi Iwao. She started teaching in 1925. She belonged to the Kyoto Tōdō-kai and was head of the Kotoe-kai. She was an active performer and teacher for over 60 years.
