Fujita Kasei

Born January 18, 1925 in Tokyo, Fujita Kasei (Fujita Masako) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Nakagawa Kashū and Machida Kachiyō (Chikushi Katsuko lineage). She started teaching in 1958 and belonged to the Chikushi-kai. She received the Arts Encouragement Award from the Saitama Prefecture Music and Dance Association in 1971.
