Endō Sōkō

Born December 19, 1910 in Miyagi Prefecture, Endō Sōkō (Endō Kuniko) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Endō Sōkin, Endō Shōkō, and Miyagi Michio. She began teaching in 1930 and belonged to the Kokufū Ongagku Shōrei-kai. Her career spanned 60 years.
