Nakakura Kenshō

Born January 15, 1911, Nakakura Kenshō (Nakakura Naokichi) studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Imai Keishō and kokyū with Yamamuro Chiyoko. He founded the Shōfū-kai in 1953 and served as a planning committee member of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai. He was active in the Hōgaku world for almost 60 years.
