Kawashima Kodō

Born February 14, 1927 in Shiga Prefecture, Kawashima Kodō (Kawashima Tsugio) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Sata Shōdō and Kaneyasu Tōdō. He started teaching in 1971. He was a member of the Nippon Chikudō Gakkan, the Shiga Prefecture Sankyoku Kyōkai, and the Otsu Shōyū-kai.
