Kōzuka Chikufū (Kozuka Sokūjō) was born September 5, 1908. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Satō Seibi and began teaching in 1950. He was the branch chief of the Kashiwara Bifū-kai and the Kashiwara Kinko-kai chairman.
