Nakamura Yōtarō

Born December 19, 1905 in Niigata City, Nakamura Yōtarō was the president of the Niigata Shakuhachi Club. With more than 40 years in the shakuhachi world, he studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Nōtomi Judō, Fukuda Randō, Yoshida Seifū, and Jin Nyodō. He received the Cultural Merit Award from the Prefectural Board of Education and Niigata City.
