Fujise Godō (Fujise Tomoyo) was born September 14, 1927. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Kaneyasu Tōdō. He was a member of the Kure Branch of Nihon Chiku-dō Gakkan. His shakuhachi career lasted over 40 years.
