Miya Keifū (Miya Takashi) was born July 30th, 1924 in Osaka. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Satō Seibi. He started teaching in 1955. He belonged to the Bifū-kai headquarters and ran the Kinko Shuppan-sha music publishing house.
