Okamoto Kōzan

Born January 15, 1910 in Nara Prefecture, Okamoto Kōzan studied Ueda-ryū shakuhachi with Matsui Kōzan. He received the performance name Kōzan and teacher certification in 1927. He was the chairman of the Kōyū-kai.
