Yamazaki Kazue

Born October 30, 1915 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Yamazaki Kazue (Yamazaki Shinako) studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Chikushi Katsuko and earned her teacher certification in 1952. She belonged to the Chikushi-kai and was active as a teacher and performer for more than 40 years.
