Tanaka Sachiko

Tanaka Sachiko (Tanaka Yasuko) was born in Tokyo, September 30, 1903. She studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under Miyagi Michio and received her Shihan (masters license) in 1933. A performer and teacher for more than 60 years, she was head of the Chitoyo-kai and a council member of the Miyagi-kai.
