Sanagi Noriko

Born in Sapporo, July 2, 1939, Sanagi Noriko (Suda Noriko) studied Yamada-ryū shamisen and koto under Sanagi Okatoyo, Kineya Seihō, and Nakanoshima Kin’ichi. She won first place at the Tokyo Shimbun Sankyoku Competition and received an Encouragement Award at the Arts Festival . She graduated from the 9th class of the NHK Hōgaku Ikusei-kai and belonged to the Kinyū-kai, Hagioka-kai, and the New Music Group "Gun".
