Seno Sachii (Seno Suzuyo) was born in Hokkaidō, March 6, 1920. She studied Yamada-ryū shamisen and koto under Hayashi Sakai and Kojima Somei and received her teaching credentials in 1945. Head of the Kinsen-kai and a member of the Seifū-kai, she was active as a performer and teacher for more than 50 years.
