Yamaguchi Tomie (Yamaguchi Sonoe) was born November 25th, 1915. She studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Yamato Aiko. She belonged to the Tokiwa-kai and was a council member of the Nihon Sankyoku Kyōkai.
