Hirao Rofū

Hirao Rofū (Hirao Masao) was born October 30, 1905 in Fukuoka Prefecture. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Nakanishi Sofu (Satō Seibi lineage) and began teaching in 1963. He was the Bifū-kai Wakamatsu branch chief.
