История:
| Composed by Tomiyama Seikin I, with lyrics by Ei Juzo, in September 1960 and premiered on November 13th of the same year. Song for shamisen and koto ensemble. Includes shakuhachi movements. The song borrows the plot from the Noh play "Chrysanthemum Jido (Makura Jido)." A vassal of Emperor Wen of Wei, by imperial order, traveled to the mountains of Zheng County in search of medicinal water. He encountered a Jido who had served King Mu of the Zhou dynasty 700 years earlier, but had been exiled to the mountains. He had transferred the key inscription on a pillow given to him by the emperor onto a chrysanthemum leaf, and had lived to the age of 700 by drinking the dew from the leaf. Originally composed as a dance piece for Ei Shodai, this piece can also be used as a sankyoku ensemble piece without a dance. |
