Enomoto Shūkin

Born July 23, 1935 in Yokohama, Enomoto Shūkin (Enomoto Hideyoshi) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Kawase Junsuke I. He began teaching in 1939. He was a member of the Chikuyu-sha and a council member of the Nihon Sankyoku-kai. He was active in the shakuhachi world for 50 years.
