Kikuyuki Chikako (Yasutake Chikako) was born September 5, 1926 in Nara Prefecture. She studied Ikuta-ryū shamisen and koto under Kikuhara Hatsuko and received her teacher certification in 1951. She was an executive officer of the Kinyū-kai, affiliated with the Tōdō Ongaku-kai.
