Nakanoshima Kin'ichi
12/16/1904 - 3/19/1984

Composer - Koto

Professor of Music at the Tokyo University of Arts. Member of the National Academy of Arts. A virtuoso of the Koto (Yamada School). He is also a well known composer. Two awards by the Ministry of Education were conferred on his works. Designated a Living National Treasure in 1966, a position he held until his death in 1984.
