Born April 23, 1923 in Tokyo, Matsuki Mihose (Matsuki Keiko) studied Yamada-ryū koto and shamisen under Nakayama Mitose (Satō Miyose I lineage). She started teaching in 1943 and belonged to the Seiga-kai. She was active as a performer and teacher for 50 years.
